Did you see the PowerPoint Presentation Upgrade? Dear Mr PowToon, when great becomes better I have to take note!
I’ve not been over to PowToon for about 10 days – I’ve been so taken with Sparkol that I had moved poor ‘ol Pow on the back burner… well that was a mistake, it turns out that the scientists over at PowToon are not resting on their laurels.
www.PowToon.com is this great website I found that lets you produce fantastic PowerPoint presentations for free. But it’s not just powerpoint templates that they have under the hood. There’s enough video presentation tools to keep the most avid video presenter geek type happy.
Rewind your imagination to your school days and there’ll be an unlimited amount of unique video presentations awaiting you – the combinations are infinite and only stifled by a lack of imagination.
PowToon Presentation Upgrade
There’s been a brand new character added to the PowToon library which mean that there’s a whole new bunch of goodies that come along to-boot.
The new character set is call ‘paper cut‘, though heaven only knows why?!
The character sets usually have 1 main figurine, but as I said The gou’s over at PowToon have pushed the boat out with a presentation set that has 4 (yep that’s four) main characters a bunch of added props and icons images to sweeten the pot.
When I last used this presentation software I was only able to import the sounds in the PowToon database. That’s got an upgrade too!
After recording with audacity a great free audio tool I uploaded my own MP3 to my slide presentation and that wasn’t something I was able to do a couple of week ago.
I son’t know if it’s just me with unusually clean glasses today … but the images look far sharper than they did last time too. I’m sure the scientists have had a tinker under the bonnet as things seem to be a lot smoother and more responsive all over the site.
You know me – I couldn’t resist creating a quick video with Mr & Mrs Paper Cut and their two kids! … even got the cat in there, but strictly speaking he’s a stray from the marker character library.
