Back in 2003, a new social network emerged that would take the music industry by storm. It was called MySpace, or Myspace or My_____, depending on your preference. Remember it? Believe it or not, it’s still going! Although has significantly fallen out of favour over the years.

MySpace (that’s the spelling I’m going to use) was an instant hit with bands and musicians because it gave them a platform on which to setup a web presence. Maintaining a blog, posting upcoming tour dates and uploading songs, videos and pictures was suddenly incredibly easy – not to mention cheap!
