It’s a sure fact that everybody needs help sometimes, and it’s no more true than when you start out on something new. New skills, new terminology, and a business plan for growth don’t come easy to everyone.
For the last 9 years I’ve been making my living online with affiliate marketing being one of my income streams. Learning how to create a decent profit from my computer that’s allowed me to quit the 9-5 shackles with no turning back...
...However it wasn’t exactly by design!
I had a great job, earning good money and I worked 60 hours a week for it – but at the time I thought that I had no other choice. THEN on the 9th of December 2008 I had the worst news ever. The job I valued so much , apparently didn't value me that much, and pulled away from under me.
I found myself out of work, 2 children under 7yrs old, new house meaning a mortgage and panic!
To cut a long story short – I buckled down and worked 30 hours a week for the next 6 weeks studying online marketing and learning completely new skills, It was 40 days into my learning when I got the shock of my life and a life changing revelation.
From that very moment and I remember it so well – sitting up in bed with my laptop open and screaming “YES” at the top of my voice, kids running in from the next room to see what all the fuss was about, and seeing the grin on my partner face was as big as mine! 
That was a glorious moment that I will NEVER forget
I have to admit, I was lucky and picked a winner as a first product to promote, used a free web 2.0 called Squidoo as a web page and creamed it – alas Squidoo is longer around and it's not as easy today - but it's not impossible.
